[Announce] Clear Creek raised to Abbey

News "of great joy" from Kirk Kramer. . .

The Pere Abbe of Fontgombault, Dom Forgeot, yesterday named Dom Philip
Anderson first abbot of the new Abbey of Clear Creek.

Long-time guestmaster Dom Francis Bethel was named prior of the new
abbey.  Dom Mark Bachmann was named subprior.

One friend in Oklahoma heard that Father Anderson' abbatial
benediction will take place the day before Low Sunday in April.

So far I have found only this item on the web about Wednesday's 
announcement.

Presumably at some point the diocesan website

will publish an announcement.

Clear Creek's "sister-house" at Gaussan near Narbonne has given its
bells to Clear Creek; they arrived in recent days, in time to be rung
for the great announcements this week.  Photos of their arrival are

(The community at Gaussan have moved to a new location in the same
general area of France, at a place called Donezan.)
