I sent this email today to various contacts in Mumbai.  RMW

On behalf of all associated with the Oscar Romero Catholic Worker House of Oklahoma City, I wish to express our deep-felt sorrow at the violent terror which has come upon your great city.  Please be assured that we will keep you in our prayers.

After the terrorist bombing of the Federal Building here in Oklahoma City in 1995, a simple message from the 12th chapter of the Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Romans was put up around the city on billboards.  It read:

"Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good."

This is my prayer for all the great City of Mumbai on this vigil of the First Sunday of Advent, in the year of our Lord 2008.
