[Announce] Social justice stations of the Cross

On Monday, March 3, we will walk the Social Justice Stations of the Cross with students from Creighton University who are spending their spring break with us.  also, students from the College of St. Mary in Omaa will be with us.  If others in the OKC area want to attend, that is fine wit us.  We leave from our house, 1524 NW 21, about 9.

If you are unable to attend ("impeded", as the canonists say),here is the list of stations and the corresponding stops on our Social Justice tour.  You can simply meditate on them at home, or you can get some friends together and do this yourself.  It takes us about 3 hours.

Bob Waldrop, Romero House

I. Jesus is condemned. Drug and sex area, between Western and Classen just south of NW 10th.

II. Jesus carries his cross. OK County Jail

III. Jesus falls the first time. McDonalds - I-40 and Classen.

IV. Jesus meets his afflicted mother. Jesus House

V. Simon the Cyrenian helps Jesus carry his cross. City Rescue Mission.

VI. Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. Salvation Army Family Shelter

VII. Jesus falls the 2nd time. Riverside/Union Station.

VIII. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem. Birthchoice OKC

IX. Jesus falls a third time. Walnut Grove

X. Jesus is stripped of his clothes. Youth suicide area/teenage male prostitutes (Union Bus Depot/parking garage areas)..

XI. Jesus is nailed to the Cross. OGE, ONG, Federal Reserve Bank

XII. Jesus dies on the cross. Federal Building memorial.

XIII. The body of Jesus is taken down from the cross. Catholic Charities.

XIV. Jesus is laid in the tomb. CW'er house.
