I didn't know there was a Catholic Worker farm in Chiapas, but it looks like there is one now.  These folks are trying to raise $6,500 to set up a dairy goat operation at that farm, that would provide goats to local women on the Grameen bank model, to stimulate local food production and enterprise.

I don't know if you ever met Richard Flamer or not but he and his wife Areceli have a Catholic Worker farm in Chiapas Mexico.  We have a little project started to help establish a dairy goat herd on their farm.
