I am very thankful for all of the clarification. I
was not really fond of the petition as was written
. I rarely am very fond of these type petitions,
because rarely does it speak of " Our Complicity
and Our need for repentance of our complicity as
American Christians and Catholics alike. That is
something so down right obvious to me, but very
illusive to so many others here in Omaha. So few
people speak of their complicit silence and
responsibility. Most other want to put
responsibility solely on Congress, Bush, Cheney,
The Catholic Hierarchy ( bishops and priests)and
every military person that walks this earth. They
do share the responsibility before God. All of my
speaking out against the Iraq War does not at all
resolve me of my complicity and need for
repentance. Nor does it make me better than others
in the sight of God.
I am very proud to affiliate myself with other CW
people and other friends who think alike on this
issue,, as I struggle with my own complicity and
seek repentance and forgiveness.
August 6- ( the anniversary dates for Hiroshima
and Nagasaki are coming soon. Most Catholic and
Christians will not prayer for their American
repentance and complicity on August 5th this
Sunday at church. Of course we Americans are not
responsible for any of it?
Oh the myths that we believe and the lies.
