[Announce] Helping the Oklahoma Food Cooperative

For nearly 4 years, the customer and producer members of the Oklahoma Food Cooperative have worked to build a just, humane, and sustainable local food system in Oklahoma.  Growth over the past year has stretched our capacities.  Scaling up our infrastructure requires a place to work, a warehouse.

And that requires money.

We invite our many friends across the nation to support our work by purchasing one of our first-ever fundraising T-shirts.  We have six versions of the shirt, including kids' sizes.

The screen printing is done in Oklahoma City, and the tie-dying is by Kathy Tibbits of Adair County.  The shirts are from SOS From Texas, a family business that has been raising cotton for 100 years.  Their farm has ben certified organic since the 1990s.  The cotton is ginned in a coop gin, spun into thread at a Texas mill, and made into shirts in a North Carolina mill.  Their website says that all workers receive a fair wage.

Here are the different versions of our "Warehouse Raising" T-Shirts:

1.  White T-shirt, with a full color Oklahoma Food Coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear?", and "From our family farms to your family tables."  Available in sizes Small to XXXL.

2.  Ladies scoop neck white T-shirt, with a full color coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear", and "From our family farms to your family tables."  Available in sizes Small to XXXL.

3. Ladies scoop neck white T-shirt, with a full color coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear", and "From our family farms to your family tables."  Available in sizes Small to XXXL.

4.  Tie dye T-shirt, with a one-color coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear", and "From our family farms to your family tables."  Available in sizes Small to XXXL.

5.  Kid's white T-shirt, with one color coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear", and "From our family farms to your family tables."   Sizes  INF (0-6mo), T (6-12mo), 3T (12-18mo), XS (2-4yr), YS (6-8yr), YM (10-12yr).

6.  Kids tie-dyed T-shirt, with one color coop logo, and our slogans, "Y'all bon apetit, you hear", and "From our family farms to your family tables."   Sizes  INF (0-6mo), T (6-12mo), 3T (12-18mo), XS (2-4yr), YS (6-8yr), YM (10-12yr).

Adult sizes are $20, plus $5 shipping/handling for 1 to 2 shirts.  Kids' sizes are $10, plus $5 shipping and handling for 1 to 4 kids' size shirts.

Orders must be received no later than July 19th, and will be shipped the first week of August.
